With all the many miracles
Why don’t you think it’s possible?
With all the many things we’ve seen
Why do you think it’s just a dream?
With all the things He’s done for us
Don’t you think it’s time we trust?
Remember what is possible
With all the many miracles.
Like when we were about to die,
Manna fell from the sky.
Then water came from a dry old dusty rock.
And back when Pharaoh was closing in,
God closed the sea again,
But not before we all had safely crossed.
So here you are my friend,
You face a battle you cannot win
You tell yourself, “There just no need to try”
Consider how good God’s been,
He’s been faithful time and again,
You must believe and here’s the reason why.
With all the many miracles
Why don’t you think it’s possible?
With all the many things we’ve seen
Why do you think it’s just a dream?
With all the things He’s done for us
Don’t you think it’s time we trust?
Remember what is possible
With all the many miracles.
With all the things He’s done for us
Don’t you think it’s time we trust?
Remember what is possible
With all the many miracles.
So I've had a lot on my mind right here lately of what to post....I've heard some really good sermons recently and they've all been kinda floating through my head.
This song kinda raps up all the sermons in one....I love it, I'm constantly humming it or Listening to it.
The words are so true! Look at all God has done in our lives, Look at the miracles He has performed...why do we still doubt Him?
We (including myself) want to give up the minute something gets hard, the minute we face opposition, we forget how mighty a God we serve, we forget to go to Him and ask for help, we forget that though we might see trouble and confusion God is working behind the scenes to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ever ask or think!
Like in 2 Kings 2... the Woman that had helped Elisha, who had trusted in God's man, left her home, and after the famine was over returned and to her dismay could not return to her house and her land!...One of the sermons I heard was on this very story, and while that woman was worried and went to petition to the King for her house....God had already worked everything out, God had already spoke to that king's heart and before the woman even reached the palace the king was ready to give her everything she deserved!
Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.
And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years.
And it came to pass at the seven years' end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land.
And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of the man of God, saying, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things that Elisha hath done.
And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
So when we begin to say wait this isn't suppose to happen, something isn't right...I've trusted in you Lord, I've given you my best, this can't happen, why all this trouble! Don't forget all the miracles God has already done! It may look rough, and it may be confusing, and sometimes following God isn't always easy, and you may think He isn't doing anything in your life....But wait...God is working where you can't see just yet, God is right beside you, but He's our forrunner too....So He has already in our tomorrows, and He knows the sorrow, the pain, the victory or the joy that we will face!
Remember that God is the God of miracles and He is able to do them today just like He did in days past!
