I'm Back!!!!!!!!!

Hello My Blog People, Yes I'm back. I know a few of my friends on here were wondering why I dropped off the face of the internet, lol. I just took a break from my blog, but as you can see Im back now and will be posting occasionally.
Taking a break from my blog was not the only thing, some of you know I'm not on facebook anymore, and for some of my closer friends my cellphone. I guess you could say those things were consuming my life, to the point where I believe I was backsliding. I was wasting my time, and truly came to the point where it was too important to me.

Turning 20, wow...was it really only a few months ago...Anyway turning 20, I believe has been the hardest. The day I turned 20 the devil seemed to throw an all out attack on my life, and I was sorta oblivious to it. I mean why would the devil want me??? But I've come to see that once you turn 18,19, 20, and 21...the devil wants you, He knows those are the years of your life you'll make huge decisions that will affect the rest of your life. You really have to give it to the Devil, he's pretty strong and powerful, wicked and he's out to destroy.

I've seen that these past few months, in my life personally. But I've also seen something so much greater!! Yes the devil is out there waiting for us to fall, waiting for us to give up our devotions for a couple of nights, to pray a little prayer here and there but not really care what we pray about, He's waiting for us to get a little down, to let our thoughts wonder to places they shouldn't go, to doubt God, to fear, he's right there tempting you with his very best....and I believe he is working over time right now, in Christian homes, Pastor's homes, in young preacher's, in young christian ladies lives, in my Generation. He doesn't want us to do God's will, He doesn't want us to do something great for God, He doesn't want us to be happy living for Christ, honoring God in everything.

But HEY, don't let it beat ya!!!
Because, Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. God is on our side, we've got angels fighting all around us, All we have to do is stay so close to Him, fall back in His arms, and we've nothing to fear!!!
There is an awesome battle we face each and every day, you may think your on the up and up, and the Devil uuughh, that horrible creature, comes and throws your past in your face, or a nasty thought will come, or you find your self wanting to murmur and complain. But we must fight,We must be brave,Remember this... Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Our Family is learning these verses together. I encourage you to learn them too, learn scripture, the day I shut everything down, facebook, blog, cellphone, I gave my life to God again. I want to honor Him in all that I do, I want to get to know Him, that day I started learning, memorizing scripture too.The more scripture I learn the closer I feel to God, I mean I'm no where close to where I want to be, where I need to be, But I believe for the first time in a long time God is working, and I can see it.
I want Revival in my heart and life, so if there is something in my life I believe is coming between my time with God, or hindering me in anyway. Just because I'm part of the facebook/texting/computer generation doesn't mean I have to give my time, to a waste of time, doing nothing.lol.

Sorry for the long post, But for all of you who may read my blog. I want to encourage you, I want to point you to my wonderful, merciful, Saviour. Who's Love never stops, Who can make you happy, Who covers all your sins with His precious blood, Who really is the best thing that's ever happened to me!!!! So I'll continue posting, hopefully as God works in my life, as I try my very best to live for Him, to honor Him with everything in my life, I'll encourage somebody...and bring Glory to Him.

Right Now I'm just clay on the Master Potter's wheel, I may mess up, but God is still molding, God is still loving, God is still working on me. Praise His Name, He is SO Good!

  4. I'm glad you're back. This scripture came to mind as I read your post.
    Heb 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

  6. Yay! You're back! I'm glad to know you've been doing good! It sounds to me like you've had your own little revival going on in your heart and I am so glad! Our revival services start Sunday at church, but we've been having old-fashioned cottage prayer meetings for the last 6 weeks and they have just been wonderful! I've found that it doesn't take the actual revival meetings to revive you, but the time you spend sitting at His feet and reading His Word.
Thank you so much for letting us know how you're doing! :)
